Who we are

This policy describes personal data on the public website linksh.app, operated by CHAGIL OÜ.

linksh.app publishes articles. There are no accounts for visitors, no forms, no ads, and no social-media pixels.

What the site processes

• Server logs. The host, Vercel, records standard request logs, including IP address, browser, and pages requested.
• Analytics, only if you accept. Google Analytics 4 then loads. It receives usage data, an approximate location derived from the IP address, and device and browser details. It uses cookies named _ga and _ga_*.
• A language cookie, NEXT_LOCALE. It remembers the language for the browser session.
• Your cookie choice, stored in this browser's localStorage as linksh_cookie_consent.
• Email. If you write to info@linksh.app, we use your message to reply.
• Article images. Some images are served from Unsplash. Their servers receive your IP address.
• Fonts are self-hosted on linksh.app.

Sign-in code is bundled with the site but sends nothing for visitors who don't sign in.

Why

• Logs are used to run and secure the site. The legal basis is legitimate interest.
• Analytics runs only after you accept analytics cookies. The legal basis is consent.
• The language cookie keeps the language you are shown. The legal basis is legitimate interest.
• Email you send to info@linksh.app is used to reply. The legal basis is legitimate interest.

Who receives data

Google receives analytics data if you accept. Vercel receives hosting logs. Unsplash receives your IP address when an article image loads from their servers.

International transfers

Google Analytics and Vercel may process this data in the United States.

How long we keep it

• Analytics cookies can last up to two years. Withdrawing consent stops analytics and clears the _ga cookies. How to withdraw is described in the Cookie Policy.
• NEXT_LOCALE lasts for the browser session.
• linksh_cookie_consent stays in localStorage until you change it or clear site data.
• Email you send to info@linksh.app is kept so we can reply.
• Vercel keeps its request logs. This site does not set a separate retention period for those logs.

Your rights

You can ask for access to personal data we hold about you, for a correction, or for deletion. Email info@linksh.app. You can withdraw analytics consent as described in the Cookie Policy. You can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.

Children

The site is a general publication. It does not ask visitors to fill in a form.

Changes

When the site changes what it collects, this page is updated. The date at the top is the date of this version.
